Background
Automated Currency Instruments is a high technology company based in Exton, Pennsylvania. ACI designs and engineers electronic automated kiosks and related software for the processing and redemption of tickets issued by casino slot machines and other gaming equipment using Ticket In-Ticket Out technology. ACI also has a line of products designed to meet the needs of gaming companies operating earlier generation token-based machines.

Emerging from its R&D phase in early 2003 ACI landed its first significant kiosk order in March 2003 with Harrah’s Atlantic City. Following this early success with Harrah’s ACI achieved the placement of additional first generation kiosks in the Florida and Nevada gaming markets.

With Ticket In-Ticket Out technology accounting for more and more market share ACI initiated the licensing phase for its next generation kiosks in several major jurisdictions including GLI approved states. In May 2004 ACI received formal approval from New Jersey Gaming and, within 30 days, landed another significant kiosk order, this time from the Tropicana Casino, Atlantic City. Building upon its success with the Tropicana, ACI teamed up with its first distributor, Avalon Gaming, and, in a six month period, won seven of nine head-to-head kiosk placement competitions. That’s better than a 75% success rate!

Since then ACI has appointed exclusive distributors in Florida , Colorado, and Washington State. ACI’s commitment to top notch customer service can also be seen in its decision to establish an additional state of the art technical service center and sales facility in Las Vegas to exclusively serve the Nevada gaming market.

Currently, ACI is approved by Nevada Gaming to market and sell ticket redemption kiosks. Additionally, ACI has been approved by Gaming Laboratories, Inc. to market and sell its ticket redemption kiosks throughout the US and ACI has been granted transactional approval from the Division of Gaming Enforcement in New Jersey.

ACI has developed its reputation in the gaming industry based on the strength of its state of the art technology, product reliability and unsurpassed customer service. These same qualities led to an influx of capital in late 2004 when Chamber Capital II, a Philadelphia based venture capital fund, invested heavily in the future of ACI. Based on the merits of its technology, industry know-how, proven results and financial security ACI is now perfectly situated to take its place at the top of the ticket redemption market.
